Does watercolour artwork print well on canvas?
It does. Canvas has a slight texture that suits the medium, since watercolour already has a soft, absorbed quality rather than a hard-edged one. Fine washes and bleeding edges reproduce cleanly, and the weave picks up the paper-like character of the original.
Do watercolour prints wash out in a bright room?
Watercolour is naturally low in contrast, so in a very bright room it can read as faint. That is usually the point - the piece settles into the room rather than dominating it - but if you want the wall to have a focal point, choose one of the deeper-toned pieces or hang it where the light is indirect.
What is the difference between watercolour and abstract wall art?
