      Die längliche Form verändert die Wirkung eines Bildes. Durch die einzige lange Achse folgt das Auge dem Werk von einem Ende zum anderen, statt in der Mitte zur Ruhe zu kommen: Landschaften gewinnen an Weite, Abstraktionen wirken gestisch, und botanische Studien verdichten sich zu einem einzigen Stängel. Das Sortiment umfasst außerdem Küsten- und Bergszenen sowie zurückhaltende Arbeiten in harmonischen Farbtönen, die sich gleichermaßen für moderne und historische Räume eignen.

      Fünf Größen von 20×60 cm bis 60×180 cm. Bespannte Leinwand oder ein schwebender beziehungsweise klassischer Rahmen in Schwarz, Weiß, Holz, Walnuss oder Gold. Jedes Werk wird auf Bestellung gefertigt und hängefertig geliefert.

      What is long wall decor?

      Long wall decor is any wall piece made in an elongated format rather than a conventional square or rectangle. This is our leanest shape - five sizes from 8"x24" (20x60cm) up to 24"x72" (60x180cm), hung horizontally or vertically.       What is the difference between wall art and wall decor?

      In practice, very little - wall decor is the broader term and tends to include mirrors, hangings and dimensional pieces alongside prints, while wall art usually means a picture. Everything in this collection is a canvas print, so it qualifies as both. If you are searching, try both terms: retailers use them interchangeably.

      How narrow is too narrow for wall art?

      For a canvas, around 8in (20cm) on the short side is the practical floor - go slimmer and the image has too little room to hold detail, and the piece starts to read as a strip rather than an artwork. On a wall narrower than about 16in (40cm), a single 8"x24" (20x60cm) vertical is usually the right call.

      Does an elongated format change how a picture looks?

      It does.       After much consideration I think the canvas I chose looks great for my space - beautifully made, stunning floating gold framed border - the only thing is I wished they used a different delivery service- the canvas arrived in IRL quickly - trying to get it delivered from UPS was a nightmare, I ended up collecting it from their warehouse. The canvase was worth it though.
