      Décoration murale longue, disponible en orientation horizontale ou verticale. 

      La forme allongée modifie la lecture de l’image. Avec un seul axe long, le regard suit l’œuvre d’un bout à l’autre au lieu de se poser au centre : les paysages gagnent en profondeur, les œuvres abstraites deviennent gestuelles et les compositions botaniques se réduisent à une seule tige. La collection comprend également des scènes côtières et montagneuses, ainsi que des œuvres aux tons doux qui trouvent leur place aussi bien dans les intérieurs modernes que classiques.

      Cinq dimensions, de 20×60 cm à 60×180 cm. Toile tendue, cadre flottant ou cadre classique en noir, blanc, bois, noyer ou doré. Chaque pièce est fabriquée sur commande et livrée prête à être accrochée.

      What is long wall decor?

      Long wall decor is any wall piece made in an elongated format rather than a conventional square or rectangle. This is our leanest shape - five sizes from 8"x24" (20x60cm) up to 24"x72" (60x180cm), hung horizontally or vertically. The elongation changes how the image reads: the eye follows the piece end to end instead of settling in the middle. For the same long look with more depth, see our Narrow collection.

      What is the difference between wall art and wall decor?

      In practice, very little - wall decor is the broader term and tends to include mirrors, hangings and dimensional pieces alongside prints, while wall art usually means a picture. Everything in this collection is a canvas print, so it qualifies as both. If you are searching, try both terms: retailers use them interchangeably.

      How narrow is too narrow for wall art?

      For a canvas, around 8in (20cm) on the short side is the practical floor - go slimmer and the image has too little room to hold detail, and the piece starts to read as a strip rather than an artwork. On a wall narrower than about 16in (40cm), a single 8"x24" (20x60cm) vertical is usually the right call.

      Does an elongated format change how a picture looks?

      It does. With only one long axis, the eye travels along the piece rather than resting in the centre: landscapes gain a sense of distance, abstracts read as gesture and movement, and a botanical resolves into a single stem rather than a bunch. It is why the same image can feel quite different in a long format than in a square one.

      What sizes does long wall decor come in?

      Five: 8"x24" (20x60cm), 12"x36" (30x90cm), 16"x48" (40x120cm), 20"x60" (50x150cm) and 24"x72" (60x180cm). Each is available as a stretched canvas or in a floating or classic frame, in black, white, wood, walnut or gold, made to order and delivered ready to hang. If none of those is deep enough for your wall, the Narrow collection offers three fuller sizes up to 30"x60" (75x150cm).

      After much consideration I think the canvas I chose looks great for my space - beautifully made, stunning floating gold framed border - the only thing is I wished they used a different delivery service- the canvas arrived in IRL quickly - trying to get it delivered from UPS was a nightmare, I ended up collecting it from their warehouse. The canvase was worth it though.
