      Deze collectie maakt deel uit van ons assortiment Natuurkunst voor aan de muur en omvat nevelige bergketens, glooiende landbouwgebieden, stille meren bij het eerste licht en uitgestrekte luchten met subtiele kleurnuances, in kleurenpaletten van zacht beige en steenkleurig tot dieper groen en blauw. Een breed horizontaal kunstwerk komt mooi tot zijn recht boven een bank of bed, terwijl een hoge verticale print een tafereel langs een hal of trappenhuis omhoog laat lopen.

      What size landscape print works above a sofa?

      Around two-thirds the width of the sofa. A three-seater takes 20"x60" (50x150cm) or 24"x72" (60x180cm); a two-seater takes 16"x48" (40x120cm). Landscapes reward the larger end of that range - the wider the canvas, the further the horizon has to travel, and the more distance the scene gains.

      Should a landscape print be horizontal or vertical?

      Horizontal for almost all of them. The colour and interest in a landscape sit along the horizon, so a wide canvas keeps all of it in frame rather than cutting it in half. A vertical format works when the subject has height of its own - a mountain face, a waterfall, or a valley seen end-on rather than across.

      What is the difference between landscape and nature wall art?

      Nature is the broader range, covering forests, meadows, water and wildlife as well as open scenery. Landscape is the part that is specifically a view: mountains, valleys, farmland and sky, where the horizon is the point. If you want trees or a particular light, those have collections of their own.

      Do panoramic landscape prints work in small rooms?

      Often better than a square print does. A wide, shallow canvas draws the eye sideways and makes a wall read as wider than it is, where a large square piece can close a small room in. Keep the height modest - 16"x48" (40x120cm) rather than 24"x72" (60x180cm) - and let the width do the work.
