      Muurdecoratie met zonsondergangen en zonsopkomsten in lange, smalle formaten – canvasprints van gedempt licht en gloeiende horizonten. Dit is precies waarvoor panoramische verhoudingen zijn gemaakt: de kleuren van een zonsondergang verschijnen langs de horizon en op een lang canvas blijft alles binnen beeld, in plaats van dat het in tweeën wordt gesneden.

      Deze collectie maakt deel uit van ons assortiment Natuurmuurdecoratie en omvat het eerste licht boven het water, de schemering over heuvels en zachte kleurverlopen in de lucht, in verbrand oranje, roze en steeds dieper blauw. De collectie sluit het meest aan bij Kust, Landschap en Aquarel. Door het warme kleurenpalet komen deze prints het best tot hun recht in kamers die van zichzelf weinig warmte krijgen – een kamer op het noorden of een muur waar de zon nooit komt.

      Elk werk wordt op bestelling gemaakt in verschillende formaten, als opgespannen canvas of in een zwevende of klassieke lijst in zwart, wit, eikenhout, walnoot of goud, en wordt klaar om op te hangen geleverd.

      Do sunset prints work in a north-facing room?

      That is where they work hardest. A north-facing room gets cool, flat light all day, and a warm-palette print is the simplest way to put warmth back into it without repainting anything. Light does more to how a room feels than wall colour does.

      Is a sunset print too warm for a neutral scheme?

      Rarely. Most of this work sits in burnt orange, dusty pink and deepening blue rather than bright colour, so against a neutral wall it reads as a warm accent rather than a statement. The abstract gradient pieces are quieter still if you want the colour held right back.

      What size sunset print works above a bed?

      Around two-thirds the width of the bed - 20"x60" (50x150cm) over a double, 24"x72" (60x180cm) over a king. Sunsets suit that position particularly well because the colour runs along the horizon, which mirrors the line of the headboard beneath it.
